Amman Chamber of Commerce signs an agreement with the aim of achieving a fully functional e-chamber

In line with Jordan’s vision to increasingly develop the government and leading institutions towards e-services, the Amman Chamber of Commerce has signed an agreement with the aim of achieving a fully functional e-chamber.

The agreement singed between the Chamber, ESKADENIA Software Solutions & General Computers & Electronics (GCE) includes the supply of an advanced networking infrastructure, hardware and Internet and business software. The new equipment with associated software will provide an efficient and easier working environment for the Chamber and enable the member companies to conduct most services through the Internet.

The Amman Chamber of Commerce has more than 32,000 member companies and establishments. The agreement has been signed by Mr. Haider Mourad, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Amman Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Nael Salah Managing Director of ESKADENIA Software Solutions and Mr. Hamam Darwazeh Chairman of (GCE). The agreement was signed in the presence of the Executive Body of the chamber including Mr. Yanal Bastani, the First Secretary of the Amman Chamber of Commerce. Present were also, Mr. Mohammed Al Muhtasib, Mr. Nafiz Al Alian, Mr. Naïf Gasrawi, Dr. Hani AL khalili, Mr. Ahmad Saka; president of the Jordanian Computers Association, Ms. Rana Abuzeid, Operation Manager of (GCE) and Ms. Doha Abdelkhaleq, Director of ESKADENIA Software Solutions. Mr. Mourad stated that this project has been launched with the blessing and keen interest of government officials and high-level encouragement to investment in Information Technology.

The Amman Chamber of Commerce took the challenge to pioneer such advanced development using local Jordanian expertise. The e-chamber Internet site will simplify for its members applications and processes and save them precious time and effort. The services provided by the software include original certificates, sponsorships, monetary backgrounds of sponsors, statistical information regarding external commerce tariffs and customs duties, trades and expeditions both local and foreign. The Chambers employees will greatly benefit through automation and introduction of more efficient processes. “Eskadenia Software Solution is very happy for its involvement in this, for Jordan, important and pioneering project.
