ESKADENIA Employees cheer their cyclist amongst 250 women cycling for peace in Amman

Under the Patronage of Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah, the 5th Follow the Women Middle East Bike Ride for Peace brought to Jordan around 250 cycling women from over 30 countries from 14th to 17th October 2009. The women cyclists for peace started their 14 days of riding in Lebanon on the 8th of October then moved on to Syria, Jordan, and Palestine, ending back in Jordan on 21st October 2009.
The ESKADENIA team organised a corporate team to cheer and receive the cyclists while riding in front of ESKADENIA premises at 233 Madina Al Munawara St in the capital Amman on their first day in Jordan.
“ESKADENIA’s team cheered us and has in deed raised the momentum and touched our hearts with a very warm welcome”, said Lina Hussein, ESKADENIA’s Communications Manager who joined the ride from Lebanon across Syria to Jordan. “The power of women united in action for peace, to end violence and abuse of human rights, has always been a driving engine behind many great accomplishments worldwide. I have participated with ten other Jordanian ladies to prove that this driving force is also true in Jordan."
