ESKADENIA’s ESKA® Academia and ESKA® Business Manager (ERP) runs live at the Bishop’s School
ESKADENIA Software, Amman, Jordan, January 2011
The deployed systems have been designed to seamlessly integrate the school’s internal and external operations and provide the school’s administration and functional staff with user friendly interfaces to effectively run and manage their daily operations using IT as an enabler.
ESKA® Academia will help the Bishop's School in establishing a habit by teachers, students and parents to use the Internet for education and human communication, and adapt what technology has to offer into their daily life. The system will help the school’s staff conduct their daily work routines in an efficient manner through a web-based user-friendly interface that taps into online sub-systems, including: Registration, Fees, and Certification Management. In addition, the Internet-to-SMS module within ESKA® Academia enables the school to communicate with students, parents, and teachers through different forms of short messaging services. In addition to the Online Exams module which automatically generates exams timetables, in addition to the Student Affair module which allows teachers to maintain student attendance information.
The core modules within ESKA® Business Manager, including Financial Management, Human Resource and Payroll modules, provide the school’s administration and functional staff with web-based interfaces for an effective management of the schools financial and human resources functionalities.
Both systems provide comprehensive reporting capabilities with accurate up-to-date details concerning all the school’s functionalities. Reports can be retrieved according to users’ privileges and authorisation, as defined by the system’s administrator.
The systems were built on the latest Microsoft.NET technology and platforms, applying an Object Oriented approach that concentrates on the business needs rather than the technical limitations embedded in some technologies. An “Extreme Programming” approach has been applied, thus shortening lead time, lowering costs, and meeting customers’ quality expectations.
“We are very glad to partner with the Bishops school for its leading ideas and vision for an automated school environment. The project was implemented between teams of high calibre and understanding of the IT and School requirements" said Doha Abdelkhaleq, Executive Director and Co-Founder at ESKADENIA Software.
