ESKADENIA signs with NOW mobile network on the deployment of its Billing and CRM System
ESAKDENIA, Amman, Jordan, August, 2008
The Billing system will enable NOW to handle all billing services, customer care aspects, interconnect and roaming agreements, and customer self-care Internet access for post-paid subscribers connected to its GSM and GPRS networks.
The bilingual ESKADENIA Billing & Customer Relationship Management System (ESKADENIA® BCRM) is a high-performance, mission-critical software application that enables real-time billing in telecommunication networks. The modular software solution includes modules for Customer Relationship Management, Marketing, Service Provisioning, Product & Pricing Management, Rate Plan Management, Rating, Billing, TAP 3.11 Roaming, Credit Control, Resource Management, Inventory Management, Sales Management, Interconnect and Revenue Sharing, in addition to an advanced Point of Sale system. The system will, in addition, support online and offline integration with the telco’s Intelligent Network based charging system.
ESKADENIA will also deploy its Web-enabled GSM Mediation Gateway (ESKADENIA® Mediation Gateway) that will be connected to the switching network. The Mediation Gateway at the New Mobile Network will be interfaced to Ericsson Mobile Switch Centre (MSC) and Ericsson Intelligent Network.
ESKADENIA® BCRM and ESKADENIA® Mediation Gateway have been completely designed and developed at ESKADENIA in accordance with both the GSM and CCITT recommendations for billing and number plan standards. Additionally, the Billing & Customer Relationship Management System supports billing for landline telephony services and Intelligent Network services.
The agreement was signed with PMF Telecommunications Holding Ltd., the entity assigned by NOW to handle its network and services procurement from various suppliers.
“The annual telecommunications investment is rising substantially in Sudan and already represents one of the fastest growing telecom markets in Africa. The country has tremendous potential as its market penetration is still a modest percentage of its potential”, said Nael Salah, Managing Director of ESKADENIA Software. He added, “Our new project with NOW is hopefully the start of other successful projects as we take pride in the trust of the operator through the continuous successful business with PMF Telecommunications Holding”.
