HH Sheikh Khalifa bin-Ali Al Khalifa Presents Awards for Arab Volunteers in Bahrain
Manama, Bahrain: Bahrain hosted the Arab award for Arab Volunteers, from September13 -16 in honour of prominent Arab figures in volunteering work. Eighteen such individuals and organizations received the award at a Grand Ceremony on the occasion of the Arab Volunteer Day on September the 15TH.
Nominated by the Jordan council for Voluntary work, Ms. Doha Abdelkhaleq has received the award In recognition of her efforts to promote voluntary work in the Jordanian society.
The ceremony was presided over by Sheikh Khalifa bin Ali Al Khalifa, and organized by the Bahraini “Good Word” Society in cooperation with the Arab Union for Voluntary, at the reception, Doha Abdelkhaleq said, “Volunteer work is a noble work and I was humbled by the nomination”
