Minister of ICT visits ESKADENIA Software
ESKADENIA Software, Amman, Jordan, July 2009
The visit comes as part of continuous efforts by the Ministry of ICT to further enhance its partnership with the private sector.
During the visit, founders of ESKADENIA Software, Mr Nael Salah and Ms Doha Abdelkhaleq briefed His Excellency on the company's history, ongoing operations, and achievements. They also shared with the Minister and the delegation that included key representatives from the MoICT and the Information Technology Association in Jordan (Int@j) the growth potential for ESKADENIA through its 28 registered products and on the other hand the challenges faced by the company towards expansion, and the impact of the economics of year 2009 on the Jordanian ICT industry and companies.
Expressing their “pride in the human resource that returned to Jordan and decided to join ESKADENIA”, the company’s management shared with His Excellency their experience as it relates to the “brain gain” the company is experiencing as opposed to the “brain drain” that the country has faced in previous years.
The minister was also escorted in a tour around the offices of ESKADENIA and met with a number of its employees and exchanged ideas.
