At the Syrian MENA ICT Week, the conference in general discussed topics in relation to the Syrian ICT industry and the region as the cost of ICT infrastructures and optimizing them, and the cooperation between the public and private sectors to provide advanced services, increased penetration to the internet, reducing costs of ICT services. All the sessions reviewed the various services that will be presented for the country and the steps taken to improve the connectivity environment.

ESKADENIA Software participation was in the form of a keynote speaker in its first session on Labour, education and human resources.

Speaking at the MENA ICT Week, said Managing Partner Ms. Doha Abdul Khaleq “We have participated at the first session of the MENA ICT Week; and we discussed and exchanged views on the readiness of human resources and education in the information technology sector and extensively shared our advanced experience from Jordan in that matter as well as explored ways of possible cooperation between the Arab countries. In particular; the issue of the free movement of human resources for the implementation of sector’s projects; Which does not bear the excessive delays caused by the stress of some Arab countries in granting visas for business trips. For that reason; I proposed that a special visa to be granted to the staff of the technology sector which allows them to travel to implement projects around the region. We want to automate our projects in the Arab world quickly, and this requires unhindered, freedom of movement for the Arab ICT professionals as a matter of urgency.”
