Under the patronage of His Excellency Dr. Azzam Sleit; the minister of information and communication technology, ESKADENIA Software tech experts celebrated their distinguished teams in the (Intel Youth-Tech Pilot Program) pitching and award ceremony, Intel Corporate Affairs Manager “Rula Habash” and EFE/JCEF CEO Mayyada Abu Jaber announced the winners and honored the mentors as part of the celebration - Monday the 5th of May, 2014 at the Hashemite Auditorium, Royal Scientific Society - Amman.

ESKADENIA software tech experts Shaden Mar'i and Abdullah Abu Hazeem participated in the program as mentors, where they guided two different teams of graduates into shaping their innovative ideas and business plans, Mar'i commented after her team pitched their project to the jury and won the third place in the competition “We at ESKADENIA are passionate about entrepreneurship and how it changes the status quo by shifting paradigms to build a better future for the generations to come, especially when it involves empowering and inspiring women in the tech industry; the experience was self-rewarding as it perfectly matches my own TechWomen mission; to be an inspirational icon and mentor to women and girls in my society”

On the other hand, Abdullah Abu Hazeem, led a team of 5 participants and guided them in executing their AIR (Animal ID & Record) business model, Abu Hazeem said after his team has been announced the winners of the Intel awards ceremony “Mentorship is beyond answering questions or providing ad hoc help, for me it was a wonderful experience, the challenge was in letting every member in the team to believe in the idea and have the sense of why so that everyone worked unconsciously to make the dream comes true. It was a win-win situation, every one added value to each other and that is why we won the first place”.

About Intel Youth-Tech Pilot Program
Intel Youth-Tech Pilot Program aims to empower youth through technology by enrolling the participants into a 5-week program of intensive training, the program included 21 university graduates who hold an IT or Management degrees. The training consisted of 3 phases; soft skills training, ideation camp and then they will compete by submitting their business models and prototypes as teams with the guide of coaches from different Jordanian ICT companies.
