The library is divided into two main submodules based on functionality.

Administrator

ESKA Schools’ library administrator provides the functionalities to control ESKA Schools’ library

• Multi-library management with all relevant details
• Categorization of all library materials according to their subjects, types, authors, publishers and materials categories
• Material placement filling in the description and information such as (Title, Edition, Category, Publish Year and Place, ISBN and Bar Code).
• Online search for books using ISBN and other material details
• Upload the materials covers and soft copies for download
• Place media in the library filling in the description, type and category
• Supports many types of e-media to be uploaded such as (Video, Audio, Flash, Images and PDF).
• View all daily transactions
• Control and define the whole check-in/ reserve/ check-out processes based on reservation priorities depending on time, date, type of user, max number of items, and days
• Provides a quick check-in method using the ISBN number or Bar Code for example
• Customize the view of the main page, through the settings page
• Dynamically create advanced rich reports

E-Service

ESKA Schools’ library module allows the users to view the results as controlled by the administrator. Moreover, students, teachers, parents and other user types can have the option to reserve books and download media files.

• Notifications of new materials, most reserved and checked-out books
• Search for materials, reserving books and viewing details of materials
• Available books display with full book information and its cover image
• Ability to download a soft copy of the book where applicable
• View all active reserved and checked out books
• Personal profile with all the user transactions
