ESKADENIA Software joins delegation from the ICT sector to southern Jordanian Universities

The minister and delegates’ visit aimed at orienting the universities and sector companies on the joint plans and programs in addition to listening to the mutual needs with focus on graduates and human resources of universities in the south of Jordan.
His Excellency Minister of ICT, Mr Marwan Juma’, stressed on the importance of replacing the current traditional computer labs at the universities in order to reduce the cost and provide students with computers from an early stage. Internet providers on the other hand highlighted the importance of the widespread of Internet coverage for all universities and local community. The delegation also discussed with the academic staff the need to incorporate non-technical courses into the universities’ curricula so as to better equip graduates and enhance their soft skills such as language, communication, project management, and time management.
The private ICT sector’s representatives expressed their commitment to train distinguished students, while Ms Sawsan Dalaq from the Ministry of ICT emphasised that global companies are committed to training and granting specialised certificates and are eager to establish technical training academies inside the universities.
From ESKADENIA Software, Ms Doha Abdelkhaleq commented, “this site visit has in deed strengthened our belief in the high quality of the academic and specialised levels of these universities; I was pleased to know that females make 60% of the graduates of Al Hussein Bil Talal University in Ma’an”. She added “the universities have committed to provide us with the names of pioneering students to open for them training and job opportunities in early stages through easy to use communication mechanisms set by the ministry".
