ESKADENIA Software meets with ICT Graduates at INJAZ Job Fair
ESKADENIA Software, Amman, Jordan, December, 2007
“Link2Job City” provided a unique opportunity for job seekers and fresh graduates from across Jordan to meet with leading job employers and recruitment agencies.
At the event, university students and qualified job seekers met with ESKADENIA Software’s representatives in one-to-one on-spot interviews, which allowed applicants the chance to confidently present themselves and their educational and employment backgrounds. The ESKADENIA Software team in turn provided constructive tips and advice to job seekers in ways to better present themselves to employers. During the two-day event, the team eagerly engaged all effort to find prospective full-time employees who would meet the recruitment qualifications at ESKADENIA Software.
On the second day of the Job Fair, Executive Director at ESKADENIA, Doha Abdelkhaleq, addressed the audience of job seekers and employers with a presentation titled “Good Employees, Bad Habits” during the Mind Training Gym agenda. The presentation follows along with ESKADENIA Software’s on-going efforts to refine the human resources applications and concepts within the ICT sector.
ESKADENIA Software also contributed with two awards to exemplary winning companies under categories such as “Best Booth” and “First Company to Employ”; awards were given out by INJAZ at the end of the fair.
"Our participation at this year’s Job Fair was both enjoyable and rewarding. The Human Resources Department has gone through many CVs received at the fair and consequently began interviewing potential candidates for recruitment. The interviews conducted in this two-day event would have otherwise taken us weeks to carry out; we expect to employ around 5 candidates from the fair”, said Salam Fakhoury, Human Resources Manager at ESKADENIA Software.
About INJAZ
INJAZ was announced as a Jordanian non-profit organisation by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah in 2001 after being launched by Save the Children in 1999 with funds from the USAID.
INJAZ provides unique courses that focus on entrepreneurship, leadership, problem solving, and social skills. Professional volunteers from both the private and public sectors conduct these courses, where the dynamic interaction between students and classroom volunteers, who have practical business experience, promotes active learning and brings theory to life.
A main pillar at INJAZ, Her Majesty Queen Rania Al-Abdullah II, has shown great interest and support since the inception of the programme. Her continuous and abundant support took many shapes; she volunteered to conduct some courses, participated in the student discussions and debates, and launched the INJAZ initiatives.
