ESKADENIA successfully delivers the first major e-government project in Jordan

ESKADENIA Software Solutions has officially handed over a complete e-chamber software package to Amman Chamber of Commerce. His Majesty King Abdullah the Second inaugurated this first major e-government project in July.

This project comes in line with Jordan’s vision to increasingly develop the government and leading institutions towards e-services. The e-chamber solution provides an efficient and easier working environment for the Chamber’s employees and enables member companies to conduct almost all services through the Internet.

The project consists of three major areas:
  • The web enabled application, which provides the members with needed information and services through the website of the Chamber www.ammanchamber.org. The provided services include Certificates of Origin, sponsorships, monetary backgrounds of sponsors, statistical information on external commerce tariffs and customs duties, trades and local & foreign expeditions. Companies can now obtain membership through the Internet, proceed with online payment and receive the Certificate by courier delivery services. Any member can also modify the membership information at any time after secured access to the membership area. This simplifies the membership process and saves members time and effort.

  • The Intranet application, where all the Chamber’s processes have been automated. Library, Secretary, Public Relations, Board of Directors and Arbitration modules are implemented to guarantee more efficiency in conducting all internal work of the Chamber.

  • ESKADENIA’s Business Manager package, which includes Financial, Human Resources, Payroll, Attendance, Inventory and Purchase Order modules.

ESKADENIA is proud to have successfully designed, developed and deployed this advanced software package for this important e-government project. This is a pioneering project not only amongst the Chambers of Commerce in the Middle East but also internationally”, stated Mr. Nael Salah, General Manager of ESKADENIA.
