VivaCell-MTS Announces Convergence of Postpaid-Prepaid Billing
ESKADENIA Software- VivaCell-MTS, Yerevan, Armenia, June 2009
ESKADENIA® BCRM integration with the Ericsson Charging System supports prepaid-postpaid convergence for all voice, data and content services. This is the first phase in the full implementation of billing convergence, where post-paid subscribers will benefit from the same user experience as the prepaid subscribers. These include real-time balance inquiry, online credit control, more innovative services, online payment processing and many more.
As for the VivaCell-MTS operations, the billing convergence will enable minimal time to market of complex products and services with a single database for all prepaid and postpaid subscribers, which will allow launching of market differentiating bundled service packages while, overall reducing the total cost of ownership.
"The billing convergence enables more flexibility to the customers, such as innovative pricing schemes, bundled service packages and a full range of payment options for all voice and next generation services," said VivaCell-MTS General Manager Ralph Yirikian. "VivaCell-MTS is at the technological forefront in the market by launching a truly convergent billing system. The driving force and in fact our Company core values are customer satisfaction and innovations to the Armenian market."
"In this competitive and booming market, the operator success depends on a customer oriented approach rather than a technology-oriented one," says VivaCell-MTS Information System Department Manager Michel Sakr "VivaCell-MTS’ strength lies in its ability to build scale with margins, enhancing operator profitability and long-term stability."
“The ESKADENIA real-time Convergent Billing and CRM system has been the fruit of thorough research and development efforts and careful attention to the market and key customers’ demands. We have a long relationship with VivaCell-MTS and we are very happy to provide solutions that meet the market requirements of this advanced and professional partner”, said Nael Salah, Managing Director of ESKADENIA Software.
